The City of New Orleans (City) and New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) solicits bids to obtain a contract for the demolition of concourses A & B for the South Terminal of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The Concourse A & B Demolition Project at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) consists of the complete vertical demolition of both Concourse A and Concourse B structures, including all elements extending to five (5) feet below grade, as well as demolition of a portion of the south terminal knuckle. This scope includes hazardous abatement as outlined within the Specifications. The scope further includes the full removal and disposal of all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems serving the affected areas. All demolition work shall be performed in accordance with the applicable FAA airfield operational requirements, MSY safety protocols, and project-specific phasing constraints to maintain continuous airport operations.
