8(a) Set-Aside, 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The work consists of procurement, delivery, and installation of precast concrete piles, precast concrete floor and ramp framing, pre-engineered metal building, metal stairs with concrete footings, miscellaneous metal work; and other related incidental work. The freshwater Bayou Lock reservation can be accessed by land by via the Freshwater City Road (LA-3147) or via water by the Freshwater Bayou Canal. There is a 5-ton limit on the Humble Canal Bridge along LA-3147.

A. Scope: The pipe shall be 16-in nominal, meeting the specifications and requirements of AWWA C 906. Pipe shall be in steel pipe sizes (IPS), unless labelled as Ductile Iron Pipe Size (DIPS). B. Materials: Pipe and fittings shall be made from prime virgin resins type 4710 exhibiting a cell classification of PE 445574C as defined in ASTM D 3350, with an established hydrostatic-design basis of 1600 psi (for water at 73 degrees F). The resin shall be listed by the PPI (Plastic Pipe Institute) in its pipe-grade registry Technical Report (TR) 4, "Listing of Plastic Pipe Compounds. C. Pipe and Fittings: The pressure rating shall be 100psi. Laying lengths shall be 40 ft standard. Both pipe and fittings shall be listed as compliant with NSF Standard 61 and shall bear the "NSF-pw" logo or mark. D. Joints: Pipe sections shall be joined by heat fusion. Heat fusion fittings shall meet the requirements of ASTM D3261. E. Marking: Pipe and fittings shall be marked as prescribed by AWWA C906 . Pipe markings shall include nominal size, OD base (ie: 12-in iron pipe sizing, IPS), resin type, dimension ratio, pressure class, AWWA C906, manufacturer's name, manufacturer's production code including day, month, and year extruded, manufacturer's plant and extrusion line, and NSF - pw logo.

This project will include the demolition and removal of an existing Engineered Materials Arresting System (EMAS), New Airfield Pavement, Electrical, and Earthwork
