Surveying Services - On-Call, Belmont, NC

The selected firm(s) will enter into a Standard Professional Consultant Services Agreement to perform services on an On-Call (task order) basis to be negotiated with the city. The firms services will be negotiated on a per project basis and will have a budget, specific scope of work, and timeframe under a Task Order. The tasks required will include but may not be limited to: Perform projects that may include ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary, route, topographical, construction, control networking, high-definition surveys, existing conditions surveys and computer-based surface models. Preparation of work product using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or requested format Identify and mapping of property lines, boundaries, easements, and rights-of-way Perform research and surveys related to private and public land ownership Develop legal descriptions, records of surveys, and right-of-way maps Research title documents and land ownership records Prepare and interpret deeds and legal descriptions Administration of project request for underground utility locations Establish horizontal and vertical control Establish monument street center lines Perform Hydrographic Surveys Provide one or more field survey crews to accomplish the requested tasks Provide Elevation Certificates Location and mapping of defined wetland areas Conduct various field surveying activities utilizing GPS and traditional surveying methods Field data collection for GIS inventory maintenance of the Citys stormwater drainage system and ESRI ArcGIS Geodatabase files Conduct all work in accordance with the Standards of Practice for Land Surveying in North Carolina (21NCAC 56.1600) and for recorded maps NCGS 47-30 Other survey-related tasks necessary as defined by the City.
