Charlotte Water is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering companies to provide Construction Administration & Inspection Miscellaneous Services- Mallard Creek WWRF Solids Handling Improvement Project. As part of the latest phase of the Mallard Creek Solids Improvements Project, CLT Water completed a condition assessment and an optimization and reliability study. Areas needing improvement were identified and documented in a PER. Final designs were completed, and the construction of this project will be bid in the summer of 2026. Construction will include components of solids treatment including: spiral heat exchangers, recirculation pumps, sludge transfer pumps, feed pumps, hot water feed pumps, gas treatment, new waste biogas flare , a new e-house, new boiler building and boilers, as well as digester building improvements (e.g. trench drains, doors, guardrails, handrails, hoist, concrete repairs, HVAC, water piping, vents)

Hole 10 Culvert Replacement : Includes clearing, the removal of approximately 290 feet of CMP culvert and installation of approximately 290 feet of CPE culvert with drop inlet structure, and other ancillary items.

This storm drainage improvement project includes replacement of storm drainage pipes, endwall, curb & gutter, storm drainage structures, asphalt pavement and water & utility relocations. Project includes active shoring, removing piping and installing 66", 36", 24", and 18" RCP with associated drainage structures.

This project installs a rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) to improve safety and ADA accessibility at the Arrowood Rd and High Meadows Ln intersection.

Charlotte Water is currently seeking a structural engineering firm to provide analysis and investigative services for various structures and buildings associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities. The anticipated scope of work may include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Documentation analysis Field sampling and inspections Laboratory testing Evaluation of design plans and construction documents Assessment of existing structural conditions Remediation recommendations and repair strategies

The work consists of, installing a 5-foot wide path from River Banks Road to the existing Four Mile Creek Greenway. This includes, but is not limited to clearing & grubbing, grading, installing a pedestrian bridge and constructing the concrete walkway.

This project will include curb ramp and pavement marking improvements in order to increase pedestrian mobility at the intersection of West Bland and Winnifred St.

The Bonlyn Storm Drainage Improvement Project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 720 LF of existing CMP/RCP. A secondary drainage system consisting of 840 LF of RCP shall be installed, primarily located on the Brookridge Apartment complex.

The existing facility is approximately 4,800 square feet and was previously utilized for final dewatering operations. Charlotte Water intends to repurpose the structure into a flexible R&D space to support pilot testing, process optimization, and innovation initiatives. Improvements are expected to include interior renovations and limited site modifications to support ADA accessibility and operational needs. The selected firm will evaluate the existing building and provide design services to support the conversion into an R&D facility. Existing Conditions Assessment: Evaluate current building structure, systems, and utilities. Facility Layout: Develop layout for R&D/pilot space, small analytical lab, offices, break area, and restrooms. Building Systems Design: Provide architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services. Utility Coordination: Identify required modifications and tie-ins to existing utilities. ADA Improvements: Evaluate and design necessary site grading and accessibility upgrades. Permitting and Bid Documents: Prepare documents required for permitting and construction bidding. Engineering Support: Provide support during bidding and limited construction phase services (RFIs, submittals, site visits).

Scope of Work: Replacing existing non-compliant ramps and pedestrian crossing buttons at the intersections of WT Harris Blvd @ The Plaza and WT Harris Blvd @ Grier Rd. Replacing non-compliant ramps along Grier road from WT Harris Blvd to Newell Hickory Grove Rd. Connecting the existing sidewalk gap at Decapolis Dr.

The selected firm/team will be tasked with turnkey delivery of construction documents for various types of roadway improvements including, but not limited to: turn lanes, traffic signals, roundabouts, medians/intersections improvements, etc. The scope of work will be tailored to each unique project and will generally include: 1. Coordination with NCDOT 2. Data gathering and existing conditions investigation: Surveying (boundary, topographic, and physical), Existing traffic conditions analysis, Geotechnical exploration of existing roadway and new corridors, and Jurisdictional determination and permitting for adjacent streams/wetlands 3. Plans and specifications preparation: Review coordination with NCDOT, Cost estimating/updating, and Development of Special Provisions 4. Real estate support: Support Town staff who will lead easement/ROW acquisitions 5. Bid phase assistance 6. Construction phase assistance: Construction inspection and certification, Pay application review/certification, and Record drawing documentation

This project consists of a sidewalk gap improvement along Prosperity Church Road.

The Town of Huntersville is accepting statements of qualifications (SOQs) for consulting services to perform architectural, engineering and construction administration services for the new Vine Park Project. This park will be located on the lot at the northwest corner of the intersection of Gilead Road and Hwy 115. This site is to the south of the Downtown Greenway and to the east of 760 Craft Works. The Plan for the Park includes two jewel boxes with restroom, seating walls, lighted archways, a water feature with art piece, sidewalk connections to the trailhead, small performance shelter, upgraded sidewalks, bench swings, lawn area, picnic table areas, landscaping, site lighting and other park amenities.

The project generally consists of equipment replacement and courtyard modifications.

This project consists of structural repairs and waterproofing replacement at a pedestrian bridge at Burson Hall (to be known as Honeywell Innovation Hub) on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The building is located at 9006 Craver Road, Charlotte, NC. The scope of the project includes structural repairs to the bridge superstructure and the installation of a new trench drain and expansion joint. The scope also includes removing and replacing the precast panels and demolition and replacement of the bridge topping slab. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated, or reasonably implied on the drawings and/or specifications for a complete, first-class job.

The Discovery Place Phase II Roof Replacement project includes replacing approximately 26,000 sq. ft. of roof. The existing roof system identified in the plans down to the existing structural deck and existing metal wall panels shall be removed. A new roof system along with sheet metal flashing and accessories to provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly shall be installed. The selected contractor shall also provide and install new metal wall panels. The roof system selected shall be submitted to the Owner for approval.

The Company will provide, on an as-needed basis, professional architectural support services (Services) to the CLT Architecture Team. All Services required will be scoped and funded by individual task orders (Task Order) issued by the Airport. The Company will be an external source of expertise and assistance and thus will work at the direction of the Airport.

The project generally consists of various rehabilitation items. Work includes flooring, vanity tops, sinks, plumbing and fixtures, doors and windows, cabinets, bathrooms, decks, electrical and other miscellaneous items.

Provide regularly scheduled removal for management, disposal and, when possible, recycling of residential and small business electronics at six locations.
