Wake County, North Carolina is seeking proposals from a qualified provider to deliver well water analysis and reporting services which includes water quality sampling supplies, courier service, laboratory analysis, and electronic data reporting for drinking water analyses that the Wake County Water Quality Laboratory cannot perform in-house.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to seek competitive proposals from qualified vendors to establish an Agency Contract to provide The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) with Emergency waste collection and disposal services throughout the 100 Counties of North Carolina and the Territory of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indian, on an as needed, emergency response basis. NCEM is a government organization that administers state and federal emergency management programs enabled by the Federal Stafford Act and Chapter 166A of the North Carolina General statutes. NCEM is charged with responding to any emergency, man-made or natural, 24 hours a day seven (7) days a week. This requires that the awarded Vendor(s) have personnel and the capability to respond to order requests after hours, weekends and during holidays. This All-Hazard Contract is therefore required to meet both small scale and large-scale needs, as well as to address short and long term distribution system disruptions. Based on emergency need, the State may require multiple sites and temporary infrastructure support.

This project improves the domestic water service to the Horticultural Field Labs and the Dearstyne Complex by extending a new water line service and connection from Beryl Road and by installing a loop connection in existing piping serving the Dearstyne Complex. The project will also address domestic water pressure issues experienced by the HFL since the West Campus was disconnected from the Method Road pumping station as a result of the I-440 widening.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of obtaining proposals and ultimately entering into a contract for the cleaning of the kitchen hood systems, which includes the hood system over cooking equipment, the hood over dish machines, kitchen exhaust fans, and equipment on the roof that is part of the kitchen hood system for school sites.

The Town of Apex has a need to increase the capacity of its power system on western side of the service territory near US Highway 64 to accommodate planned growth in the area with a new 230kV substation. The proposed substation will consist of a 230kV-24kV, 40 MVA transformer supplying three feeders from a 2,000A bus system with provisions for another three feeders and transformer in the future. Refer to the preliminary single line. Land for the new substation has been procured and the transformer has been ordered and is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2028. This project is to provide the design and engineering calculations as well as the construction documents, bid packages, and substation drawings required to construct and commission the substation. This includes all required protection, controls, and metering systems as well as design and procurement of a prefabricated control house and 48V DC battery control systems and 240/120V station power. The bus support structure shall be a lattice style support structure with the bus work arranged to match other town substation configurations. Exit feeders are to be fed by 600A reclosers (GW Vipers or Eaton Nova TS) through 576 KVA regulators (GE VR 1 or Eaton/Cooper Quickstep). The project may include the design or layout for all or portions of the exit feeders (circuit) routes. This includes load-based layout of the distribution transformers, highway crossing, and development of tie points and loop schemes for the circuit and between circuits.

The Project consists generally of the following major items: Replacement of the asphalt greenway, widening the trail with gravel shoulders, and slight realignment of trail. Replacement (and raising) of the timber boardwalk through the lake.

The NC Department of Public Safety invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout services for the renovation of six (6) residential Group Homes located in Chowan, Craven, Hertford, Macon, Robeson, and Wayne counties. All of the group homes are approximately 4,000 SF, single story facilities that share the same design and were constructed in the early 1990s. The scope of work for each group home will include, but is not limited to, renovations to HVAC, roof, kitchen, bathrooms, interior & exterior finishes, site, and parking. Full design services are required and will include all submittal requirements for the State Construction Office for all submittal phases. Cost Estimates will be updated at each design phase with each SCO submittal. Technical specifications, bidding services, construction administration services, record drawings in both AutoCAD (latest version) and Revit, and project closeout as defined by the State Construction Manual (Thirteenth Ed.) dated January 2025 will need to be provided.

This project proposes the demolition of 1,398 SF of an existing two-story, 12,629 SF arts center building and the renovation of the remaining building. In addition, the project proposes a new one-story 9,399 SF addition. The arts center building will include vocational arts classrooms to support painting, ceramics, fibers, and youth arts programming, in addition to a multipurpose room and support spaces. The existing structure is of load-bearing masonry and steel-framed construction. This addition will be steel-framed, Type VB construction, fully sprinklered with a non-separated business and assembly occupancy. The scope of work includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades as well as the installation of fire sprinkler and alarm systems.

The project scope includes required site work, generator screening wall, and installation of, one (1) 500 kw generator, new panelboard, ATS and MTS procured by NCSU, to provide full standby power at the Avent Ferry Technology Center.

The Project consists generally of the following major items: The City of Raleigh intends to improve Buffaloe Road Athletic Park Track and Field facilities. Improvements involve removal of existing asphalt track and portions of subgrade. Replacement with additional subgrade materials and new asphalt track with latex synthetic surfacing. The project also includes the removal of existing turf and replacement with new artificial turf with drainage system. The project also includes new fencing, two shade structures, additional storage space, and accommodation for multiple programs.

The project generally consists of the demolition of the pump station old wet well side 575V control system as described in the construction plans, and procurement and installation of the new 480V control system items with phased installation plan as described in the construction plans

The Project consists generally of the following major items: Base Bid - Structures #6 and #7 consist of replacing the existing timber structures with fiberglass structures. Alternate 1 - Structures #102 and #103 consists of replacing the existing timber decking with FRP. Alternate 2 - Structure #17 consists of replacing the existing timber structure with Timber Glu-lams and timber decking. Alternate 3 - Structure #17 consists of replacing the existing timber structure with steel framing and FRP decking.

The Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, located at 2 E. South Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide pressure-washing services for the facility, including Memorial Auditorium, Meymandi Concert Hall, Fletcher Opera Theater, and Kennedy Theatre. The purpose of this work is to enhance and maintain the facilitys appearance, ensuring it reflects the historical significance of the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.

The Project consists generally of the following major items: Site preparation, including installation of temporary erosion control measures, surface and tree root protection, selective tree removal, and demolition. Installation of approximately 41-linear feet boulder toe with soil lift. Site restoration of approximately 700-square yards, including floodplain benching, additional grading, seeding, fencing, resetting landscape and hardscape features, installation of erosion control fabric and coir blankets.

The Project is to establish the location of existing underground utilities within the proposed project limits of various construction projects in the planning, design, preconstruction, or construction phase.

The project generally consists of alterations to the power meter room.

Project elements include a new perimeter barrier surrounding the facility with associated illumination and security structures (e.g. vehicle bollards) as well as a new site entry configuration which includes an updated traffic flow pattern, guard house, vehicle barriers, and security surveillance systems.
