Description
For resurfacing of a certain section of State Highway in Luzerne County, Hazleton City, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 0309, Section M26/M27. The resurfacing includes a double application of micro surfacing, profile milling, line painting, and mechanized edge repair. All work will be completed within the existing roadway. The project is micro surfacing of approximately 2.90 miles of existing roadway on SR 0309. All maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) will be completed in accordance with the special provisions of the contract, Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD),Pub 213 (Work zone Traffic Control Guidelines), Pub 212 (Official Traffic Control Devices), Pub 35 (Qualified Products List for Construction, Bulletin 15), Pub 408, Pub 236 (Handbook of Approved Signs), and Pub 46 (Traffic Engineering Manual). All MPT will consist of short-term patterns. SR 0309 Segment 0120 Offset 0000 to Segment 0170/0171 Offset 0810.
