The proposed project involves the replacement of the West College Avenue Bridge over the Codorus Creek in the City of York, York County, Pennsylvania. The project area extends along West College Avenue from Schaefer Lane to Oak Lane. The bridge is owned and maintained by York County who is leading the project. The proposed structure is a four-span 2-lane bridge with sidewalks that will be constructed on the same horizontal alignment and will include a modified vertical alignment over the railroad. Roadway improvements include approach roadway reconstruction, placement of guide rail, signing & pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction, al as indicated on the approved drawings included in the Bid Package for State Route 7301, Section BRG, in York County, York City, West College Avenue over Codorus Creek, from Station 12+32.00 to Station 22+00.00, for an overall project length of 868.10 linear feet (0.164 mile).
