Description

Renovate the following areas, south elevator and Building B and adjacent elevator machine room, roof, exterior and interior corridors and rooms where infrastructure and utilities work occurs. Scope includes limited demolition and replacement of the elevator, finishings and openings, new finishes, and modifications to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire sprinkler and alarm, and communications systems:Refinish all surface areas of the following, as specified: 1. Interior and exterior walls have metal stud framing faced with gypsum wallboard (interior) and brick (exterior). For all patched materials and surfaces provide the level of workmanship necessary for finished surfaces to be indistinguishable from remaining surfaces. Plumbing: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operationHVAC: Alter existing and add new construction. Electrical Power and Lighting: Replace existing system with new construction, keeping existing in operation until ready for changeover. Fire Suppression Sprinklers: Protect existing system.Fire Alarm: Restore existing system and equipment to operational condition. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged.
