The City of Maple Valley (the City) is soliciting qualifications from consultant firms to provide professional construction management services for the Cedar Downs Water Quality Retrofit Project. The successful firm will have experience in contract administration, contractor/construction management, inspection, and materials testing requirements for improvements and retrofits to existing stormwater conveyance, treatment and detention systems. The City invites interested parties to respond to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) by submitting their qualifications relating to this type of project. The Agreement is anticipated to start in the summer of 2026 and end by summer of 2027.

Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: - Erosion Control - Clearing, excavation and site grading - Construct Geosynthetic wall with concrete fascia - Construct Cast-in-Place wall and stairs - Storm drainage improvements - Construct HMA trail - Sidewalk improvements - Channelization, Signing and Lighting - Landscape and Irrigation - Wetland Mitigation - Railing and fencing - Traffic control - Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work

Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: 270 LF of Sewer Main Replacement with pile supports 4 sewer lateral replacement Asphalt roadway repair with a grind and overlay

Provides for the improvement of NE Big Rock Road (3.23 miles) from the Duvall City limit to Kelly Road NE in King County by removal of pavement markings, raised and recessed pavement markers, planning bituminous surfaces (2.25 inch grinding), shoulder preparation, pavement repair, placing crushed surfacing, 2.25 inch overlay with hot mix asphalt, permanent striping, raised pavement marker, and other work. Subcontracting opportunities: traffic control, paint traffic lines, crosswalks, stop line, and add raised traffic markers.

Work to be performed shall include: Construction of a new crosswalk across the north leg of the Redmond Way and NE 70th Street intersection, including but not limited to reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, and pavements; paving a new traffic island in the intersection; modifications to a traffic signal system; illumination system, including poles, foundations, conduits, junction boxes, and wiring; and traffic control and detour routing and other work necessary to complete the project.

Work includes construction of pedestrian and bicycle improvements, including but not limited to construction of various curb ramps and cement concrete sidewalk, installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon systems, roadway paving, channelization and signage restoration, and other work necessary to complete the project.

Addition and improvements to the Board Room to improve operations, safety, security, and lighting in the Lake Washington School District Resource Center in Redmond, WA. The district and design team will evaluate needs, priorities and phasing of the Project in collaboration with the awarded GC/CM.

The HC-GC/CM will work collaboratively with Sound Transit to perform the tasks as identified in the Preconstruction Services Agreement and to review significant aspects of the Project. If a MACC is agreed upon and a HC-GC/CM Construction Agreement is entered into between Sound Transit and the HC-GC/CM, the HC-GC/CM shall successfully construct the project in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents

This project consists of Arterial Widening (roadway, sidewalks, signals, structural walls & Misc utilities) for Bus Rapid Transit (ST Stride) providing 6 new stations located along Bothell Way NE (SR522 from NE 145th Street in Seattle to Ballenger Way NE (SR104) in Lake Forrest Park.

Perform weekly night sweeping of zone 1, 2, and 3 under a weekly rotation with a vacuum sweeper. The Contractor will sweep Zone 1 in week one, zone 2 in week 2, zone 3 in week three, and then back to zone 1 to start the process over. This equates to a total of seventeen (17) times each year. No zone sweeping will occur the last week of December. Sweeping will be completed from curb to centerline or asphalt edge to centerline in each direction of travel. Curbing of the center medians and islands are included in all sweeping City Wide.

Total Small Business Set-Aside, 541370 - Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services. This is a non-personal professional service to provide a full GIS Inventory of Trees in the Carl S. Jr. Botanical Garden and subsequent deliverables in the form of interactive GIS-based Google Earth file (KMZ) for the Lake Washington Ship Canal at Seattle, WA.

1. Structural repairs for the walkways at Greenbridge Apartments in Seattle, WA. The repairs are to be in accordance with WSEBC Chapter 3 provisions for all compliance methods, section 301.2 and Chapter 4 repairs. Work will include selective demolition of walkway components, removal and reinstallation of specified railings, and installation of new structural and non-structural elements of exterior walkway

The work consists of protecting the riverbank of Sandy Cove Park through the installation of slope stabilization measures, including barbs, seeding, and cotton wood live stakes. The work also includes construction of public access areas to water and the installation of a water quality facility and new stormwater outfall.

In general, the scope includes:. The Work of this Contract consists of the Work identified in the Contract Documents for Highline College, Campus Paving and Utility Improvements.. Provide for the Work as shown in the Contract Documents, including all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the Project. Work Summary: a. Miscellaneous paving repairs and improvements, stair replacements, sewer improvements, and bridge improvements. There are also sidewalk and landscaping improvements at the east parking lot. There are two additive alternates to repave the east and west areas of the north parking lot. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged.

The project is located along a large 66-inch diameter lined corrugated metal pipe (CMP) storm drainage pipe on the west side of 76th Ave South, from South 228th Street to approximately 1,900 lineal feet north to its pipe outlet, which connects to Mill Creek. The project includes installation of new storm top hat/saddle pipe access structures on the existing pipe, and removal of accumulated storm solids within the pipe. The large storm pipe is located west of the road right-of-way, on a city-owned easement on private property, with private driveways and active businesses throughout. Existing communication, power, and gas utilities are located within the storm easement and near the large storm pipe. The large storm pipe outfalls into a channel which connects downstream to Mill Creek where appropriate TESC/BMPs are to be installed in the channel. Work will take place on a storm system with active drainage within the pipe where temporary pipe plugging and bypass pumping are expected. To facilitate productive efforts to remove accumulated storm solids in the pipe, work shall take place during the dry weather season. The project includes video inspection of the storm system to evaluate the pipe cleaning work and overall conditions of the pipe.

The project work includes installation of new electric vehicle (EV) chargers and provide site protection/security enhancements including fencing/gates, access control, lighting, and camera systems to parking lot E-02 at the University of Washington Seattle campus. The parking lot is located directly northeast of the intersection of 25th Ave NE and NE 44th Street. The project location is in an area previously used as a landfill or a related buffer zone susceptible to differential settlement. The project will include below grade scope and incorporate support elements and other accommodations to provide surface stability and uniformity. Electric vehicle chargers will be of the Level 2 and Level 3 direct current fast charging type. Provisions will be provided for future expansion of additional direct current fast chargers.

In general, the scope includes: Demolition of the existing standing-seam metal roofing system of Cottage #05 and replacement with a new roofing system, which includes new rigid insulation, roofing underlayment, standing-seam metal roofing, snow guards, metal flashing, gutters and downspouts, as well as replacement of the fall protection system and exterior windows due to a code-required increase in the rigid insulation thickness. Additive Alternate #1 Roofing demolition and replacement for Cottage #08. In general, the scope includes: Cottage #08, all scope associated with Cottage #05 as detailed above and as indicated on drawings and specifications. Building floor plan, construction, and condition are identical. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. The work of this contract is primarily to Construct a 187 SF CMU utility facility building for King County Solid Waste Division to house a new compressor system for natural gas and a new heater to prevent equipment from freezing. Subcontracting opportunities: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, professional engineer.

Project generally consists of selective demolition of existing freezer and related equipment, installation of new freezer and related equipment, demolition and site prep for new generator, installation of new generator and automatic transfer switch and associated electrical infrastructure.

The project is to remove and replace the ED CT. This will require the removal and reinstall casework, lead shielding demo, new lead shielding install, drywall, electrical, F/I leaded door and window, remove/reinstall sink, and new flooring.
