Description

This project includes repair the fish passage barrier found on the unnamed tributary to Willapa River that flows under Willapa Hills Trail in Lebam, WA. The scope of work for this fish passage restoration project will include but not be limited to site preparation including clearing & grubbing, culvert removal, trail fill excavation, stream construction slope establishment, pre-cast abutment installation, bridge installation, trail approach fill & gravel installation, bridge concrete finishing completion, planting & site cleanup, and associated utilities work (if any). Removal of the existing undersized 2 quantity 3 ft. diameter culverts and replacement with a 10 ft. wide by 100-foot-long bridge to correct the existing fish passage barrier. Major items included in the base bid (but not limited to) are: Trench Excavation Safety Provisions. Site Preparation. Trail Excavation & Stream Channel. Bridge & Abutment Installation. Site Cleanup. 10% for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), 6% for Womens Business Enterprises (WBE), 5% for Washington Small Businesses, and 5% for Veteran-owned businesses. While meeting these goals is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged to promote diversity in business participation.
