Description
This project will remove eight (8) existing fish barriers from separate site locations along SR 16 between MP 14.63 to MP 16.59 and SR 302 at MP 16.15. The existing fish barriers will be replaced with new structures and reconstructed stream channels to provide unimpeded passage for fish of all life stages. Work will include, but is not limited to, fish exclusion and temporary stream bypass systems, maintenance of traffic utilizing temporary traffic bypasses, removal of the existing fish barriers, earthwork above and below ordinary high water, structure and wall construction, roadway reconstruction, guardrail removal and installation, channel reconstruction, streambed restoration, roadside restoration, erosion control, water management and traffic control.
