A prolonged power outage occurred in 2025 that strained the capabilities of the existing emergency generator. The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) has elected to install two generators to minimize power interruptions and generate redundancy.

This project includes site development work to construct a new public parking lot with 14 spaces at 313 and 321 W Meeker Ave including, but not limited to: 1. Installation of all required temporary erosion and sedimentation control (TESC) measures; 2. Clearing and grubbing of existing vegetation and excavation of existing site materials to established pavement subgrade; 3. Demolition of site fencing and other existing improvements; 4. Base Bid consists of the replacement of two raw water pumps, housed in an insulated aluminum building above a raw water reservoir (East Pumphouse). Existing pumps will be removed and salvaged to the Town of Carbonado. New, 1.5-hp pumps will be installed on existing pump mounts and connected to existing piping and electrical. Minor pipe modifications are anticipated to accommodate new pumps. This Contract shall generally consist of the removal and replacement of approximately 90,000 SF of asphalt and concrete pavement at the Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center. Replacement of the attached pavement striping is also included.

The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services to perform a range of construction activities at the Northwest Landing Wastewater Pump Station. The work includes constructing a below grade reinforced concrete foundation with spill containment walls, installation of a polyethylene storage tank, ferric chloride compatible pump system, steel roof structure, emergency shower/eyewash stations, chain-link fence, gates, stairs, and various electrical conduit, water and chemical piping, cables, wiring, and other appurtenances necessary for a functional system. The chemical pump system includes control and alarm panels with Owner furnished equipment for connection to the existing SCADA system. The work also includes extending power cables and conduits from the existing motor control center in the pump station to contractor provided electrical panels. The work also includes tapping the existing water service line and extension to the emergency showers. The pump station must remain operational throughout the work.

236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractor shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the contract specifications, this Statement of Work, and identified drawings to provide a repair by replacement of the existing roof with a new metal roof panel system for Building 3087 at JBLM. The goal of the project is to install a roof system that has a long-life cycle and provides a watertight system to mitigate the roof leak issues currently experienced at the building. This is a complete repair by replacement project that will provide a system that has minimal joints, matches with the bases architectural aesthetics, and provides a complete roof system that requires minimal maintenance.

The completed Work will provide Owner with replacement of select ozone generation system equipment at the Tacoma Water Green River Filtration Facility. The Project includes procurement and installation of new electrical valve actuators, instrumentation, MCC buckets, and centrifugal pumps for cooling and ozone injection. It also includes installation of ozone destruct skid equipment, Ozone Power Supply Units (PSU), and replacement of control panel back panels which are Owner furnished products. Park Tacoma is soliciting letters of interest and statement of qualifications for A&E services to assist with development of the new Downtown Skate Park to include the design of a premier urban skate plaza, including skatepark feature designs, site civil engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture, structural engineering, public art integration, green stormwater infrastructure, lighting, ADA compliance, and community engagement.

Scope Prior to start of work at McNeil Island Barge Slip, Contractor is required to remove and store the following, for later reinstallation by Contractor: 1. 3-0 x 10-0 Hot-Dipped Galvanized Wheel Track Wear Strips This project is for the Department of Corrections, McNeil Island Stewardship - Marine Infrastructure Repairs (McNeil Island Marine Facilities) project and includes all materials, labor, transportation, equipment and services required for the completion of the project for the Department of Corrections, as detailed and described in the project drawings and specifications. Includes improvements and repairs to Marine Timber and Steel Piles, Concrete Floating Docks, a Barge Slip and Barge Mooring Anchors. In preparing this bid proposal and in executing the work, the Contractor shall apply all of his technical training and knowledge, as well as his expertise in completing of this type of work, in interpreting the design documents and in his review of the project site and shall include in the bid proposal and the project all of the incidental products and work as may be necessary to provide a fully completed and operational integrated system. This Contract shall generally consist of rail and tie replacement, replacing one switch, removing and replacing one crossover, and replacing one driveway crossing. Other work will include upgrading hardware to Pandrols in specific areas.

Milling and replacing failed asphalt pavement sections throughout the container yard. Milling shall be performed using mechanical mills to a depth of approximately 3 inches. Replacement asphalt shall be placed in two lifts and finished to match the grade and profile of adjacent paved areas. A second component of the work consists of installing concrete collars at the utility structures shown on the plans or encountered during construction. This includes sawcutting and removing the existing asphalt pavement and replacing it with reinforced concrete as specified in the contract documents.

The Work required for this Project includes: Sawcutting, milling, paving and joint sealing.
