Description
This contract work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for demolition and removal of existing concrete pits and slabs associated with the current vehicle lift installations within the Vehicle Maintenance Building, and the construction of two (2) new equipment pits to accommodate new lift installations. The work also includes the excavation, removal, handling, and off-site disposal of petroleum-contaminated soils encountered during excavation, as required. Disposal shall be at the Districts designated disposal vendor located in Seattle. Clean backfill shall be provided and placed on an as-needed basis following removal of contaminated materials.
