Scope of work is indicated on the contract drawings and specifications. The projects scope of work is to replace HVAC equipment and related ductwork, louvers, piping, and electrical work in relation to Supply Fan #4 in Penthouse #5. The intent is for the work to occur simultaneously over a two-month period maximum to allow for the existing system to be shut down in its entirety to simplify replacement. Access to the work site is good and equipment will fit all pathway clearances. The project anticipates the contractual period from the date of notice to proceed to September 28, 2026 shall be for material procurement, and on-site work for the project shall be limited to 63 calendar days commencing on September 28, 2026. Contractor is responsible for all work and project management contained in drawings and specifications. WESCOM and the City of Walla Walla invites proposals from qualified, licensed, and responsible firms in providing comprehensive architectural and engineering design services, and cost estimating for the renovation of the technology services building at the campus of Walla Walla Community College to house the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Walla Walla County (WESCOM), and the Walla Walla County Emergency Management Department.

Work includes approximately 2,300 linear feet of road reconstruction and utility replacement, striping, lighting, landscaping, construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 9th Avenue and Pine Street, and other items.

The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Jumbo Class ferry M.V. Walla Walla: USCG U/W hull and internal inspections, sea chest and treatment tank anode inspection, gauge vessel steel, anode renewals, 100% topside washdown, hull preservation, fuel oil day tank cleaning and repairs, strainer box preservation, potable water tank paint and repairs, vehicle deck steel repairs; prepare and paint vehicle deck and bridge wing non-skid, pilot house no. 2 visor repairs, pilot house, stack and crew quarters preservation, watertight door maintenance & repairs, No. 1 and No. 2 End rudder inspection, No. 1 and No. 2 End propeller inspection, No. 1 and No. 2 End outer seal element replacement and other miscellaneous work as required and other related maintenance work as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 4400 x 870 and carries 188 vehicles and 2,000 passengers.

This includes building, site, and landscape improvements. A mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours is a requirement of this contract. The Project is a renovation and expansion an existing 1-story with partial basement 1970 building. Improvements include the removal and reconstruction of the center section of the building using custom steel trusses and CLT structure, seismic upgrades, accessibility improvements, and renovation to interior public and staff areas. Scope involves replacement of the existing HVAC and fire alarm systems; modification to the plumbing, fire sprinkler service, and electrical systems; structural upgrades including concrete shear walls and wall to roof anchoring; site improvements for accessibility upgrades; and low-voltage and security improvements.

In general, the scope includes: Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical and Civil work in creating an outdoor recreation area for incarcerated individuals in a high-security environment. The scope of work includes concrete paving, high-security fencing, recreation equipment, outdoor restroom and CMU screen walls. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Plan and pave hot mix asphalt (HMA) within the traveled lanes, plus 2 feet of the shoulders, install centerline and shoulder rumble strips, crack sealing, asphalt for fog seal the shoulders and rumble strip locations, install weigh in motion sensors (state forces), restore delineation, traffic control and other work. 5% federal small business enterprise goal.
