Description
In general, the scope includes: Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical and Civil work in creating an outdoor recreation area for incarcerated individuals in a high-security environment. The scope of work includes concrete paving, high-security fencing, recreation equipment, outdoor restroom and CMU screen walls. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged.
