At present, the City operates on an approximate four- to five-year grid pruning cycle. Progressive Design-Build Services for the Burbank Library and Civic Center, Burbank, CA

Development of all required plans, specifications, studies, and reports required for the Work during design development, including surveys and geotechnical reports, based on design scoping workshops and investigations during design initiation. Development of a contracting plan, including, but not limited to, procuring trade contractors as appropriate in collaboration with the City and the Owners Project Manager. Development of cost modeling and cost estimates for the Construction Documents (plans and specifications), enabling the City and the Design-Builder to negotiate a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Work and execute an amendment for Phase 2. Manage design and construction of the Project including, but not limited to, obtaining required clearances, licenses, and permits for Work, Work sites, storage areas, etc., both on and off-site. Coordination with Project stakeholders under City and Owners Project Manager direction. Provide quality assurance and quality control during design and construction of the Project. Develop a comprehensive project baseline schedule including, but not limited to, procurement of long-lead time items.
