The City of Shelton (City) is seeking competitive bids for New Boiler at Administrative Board Of Education (BOE) Office. Owners will remove the existing boilers and flues prior to new installation. Winning bidder shall provide two new boilers as per the attached. All work to provide a fully functional system (except where noted) shall be included in the bid price.

The proposed work for the Base Bid project are two parking lots for the Board of Education. The City of Stamford, for the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) Department, solicits sealed bids from qualified responsible contractors to provide landscape maintenance of the Stamford Hurricane Barrier. The scope of work essentially comprises of keeping the barrier riprap clear of all trees, vegetation and debris along the slopes, top of the barrier and 15 feet from the toe of the barrier and along the seawalls on both the landward and seaward sides. Also included is mowing of grass at certain areas along West Beach, Wallace Street, Dyke lane Pumping station and at entrance to Kosciuszko Park, and removal of tree limbs and brush on the seaward side of the barrier at Dyke Lane pump station to facilitate WPCA vehicles accessing the discharge from the pump station.

Auditorium Seating Replacement; Wooster Middle School 150 Lincoln Street, Stratford, CT

The City of Bridgeport seeks Bids/Proposals for Newfield Boat Ramp Construction. The Newfield boat ramp, located at 421 Seaview Avenue, is currently in disrepair and will need to be reconstructed. The existing ramp and associated support structures will first need to be removed. This includes the removal of support floats and excavation to remove sediment, stone block wall, and pavement for upland disposal. Following demolition, a new 41' x 88' boat ramp will need to be constructed and installed to four feet below mean low water (-7.6' NAVD88). Reconstruction includes the following activities: A. grade to place geotextile fabric and crushed stone base; B. install a concrete headwall; C. drive a 64 linear foot sheet pile wall on the western edge of the ramp to replace the existing concrete block; D. install pre-cast concrete planks and curbing; a stone revetment at a slope of 3:1 along the western edge of the ramp; and, a 4' wide scour pad at the base of the ramp; and, E. place five 10'x20' floats supported by five 1' piles to be attached via a transition plate from an existing concrete landing.

The work includes construction of a sanitary sewer extension by one of two alternatives: gravity sewers with pump station, or a low-pressure system with grinder pumps for each property. Bidders may bid on one alternative or both. Bidders must be prequalified through the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) in the classification of Sewer and Water Lines. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
