The site is located at the Julia Street Wharf in New Orleans, Louisiana.

South Central Planning and Development Commission Building Expansion - 5058 West Main Street Houma, Louisiana 70360

This project will consist of the Construction of new regulation basketball court with acrylic surfacing and bleachers. Demolition of existing concrete flatwork, asphalt pavement, drainage structures. New Asphalt parking lot with limestone base course, concrete sidewalks and vehicular drive. Installation of three (3) new drop inlets and approximately 195 linear feet of 15 -inch reinforced concrete pipe arch (RCPA) storm drain, construction of a detention swale. ADA parking striping, signage, parking barriers, and site restoration.

The project requires the contractor to make necessary repairs to the existing South Lakeshore Drive Bridge over Bickham Bayou as shown in the construction documents. All work shall be per the 2026 edition of the Louisiana DOTD Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges. The work includes timber pile and cross member repair, joint repairs, structural concrete patching and substructure bent repair, epoxy crack injection substructure elements, and installation utility hangers as shown on plans prepared by Halff Associates, Inc. dated 06/2026.

Contractors shall provide certified technicians. All services shall be provided for the following equipment but not limited to; Galley hood #1, Galley hood #2, ventilation system, electrical system and in accordance with NFPA, local, state and federal Fire Marshal code requirements and shall meet or exceed industry standards. All materials are subject to COR approval prior to installation.
