This open-ended, on-call Contract provides for comprehensive and reliable preventative maintenance service, load bank testing, and emergency repair service for the emergency generators and associated equipment belonging to the Maryland State Highway Administration facilities located at 7491 Connelley Drive, Hanover, MD 21076. This Contract is non-exclusive and does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. The Department of Public Works and Transportation is seeking surveyors to perform land surveying services on behalf of the Bureau of Engineering and Construction. Project: DES Station 400 Renovations for the County Commissioners of Queen Annes County, Maryland. The site is located at 302 Safety Drive, Centreville, Maryland 21617. T he Work consists of the removal and replacement of existing exterior metal wall panels, installation of a metal-over-metal retrofit roof system, interior wall panel system, exhaust fan and appurtenant components including, but not limited to, fiberglass insulation, flashing and trim, and gutters and downspouts upon an existing steel frame emergency services structure. Site work in the form of minor grading, drainage improvements, and placement of concrete pavement is also involved.

The Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) will receive sealed proposals from interested and qualified contractors for the Job Order Contract (JOC). A JOC is a competitively awarded, firm fixed priced, indefinite quantity contract for a collection of tasks and related specifications involving HABC owned properties, based on established unit prices. The Contracts are to be used for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition and construction of infrastructure, buildings and structures (collectively, the Work) by means of Job Orders issued under the Contracts. Under a JOC Contract, the contractor is required to furnish all management, documentation, labor, materials and equipment needed to perform the Work. EJ50-HAE3229 and EJ51-HAE3230 are for general construction projects and require contractors to have an active Maryland State Business license. It is anticipated that the awarded contractor will be asked to perform design services on some projects. The contractor shall be required to self-perform at least 10% of the work EJ50-HAE3229 and EJ51-HAE3230. EJ52-HAE3231 is for mechanical projects and requires contractors to have an active Maryland State Mechanical license with proper Insurance along with an active Baltimore City Mechanical license. It is anticipated that the awarded Contractor will be asked to perform mechanical design services on some mechanical projects. The Contractor shall be required to self-perform at least 50% of the mechanical work under EJ52-HAE3231. HABC will primarily assign mechanical work to the Contractor. HABC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to assign general construction work to the Contractor when deemed to be in the best interest of HABC. EJ53-HAE3232 is for electrical projects and requires contractors to have an active Maryland State Electrical license with proper Insurance along with an active Baltimore City Electrical license. It is anticipated that the awarded Contractor will be asked to perform Electrical design services on some electrical projects. The Contractor shall be required to self-perform at least 50% of the electrical work under EJ53-HAE3232. HABC will primarily assign electrical work to the Contractor. HABC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to assign general construction work to the Contractor when deemed to be in the best interest of HABC.

This project, located in Prince Georges and Montgomery County, is for the Areawide Mastic Patching for Bridge Approaches. Work shall be performed as directed by the Engineer and may or may not be on a continual basis. Except for emergency conditions, it is unlikely that work will be scheduled for the months of November through March. The work will consist of the following: (a) Mastic Patching All locations for this contract will be identified after the project is awarded. Each task will indicate the scope, limits of work, the estimated quantities, and completion duration limits.

This project, located in Howard and Carroll County, is for the re-grading and stabilization of SWM grass swales in various locations along I-70, US-29, and MD-216. Refer to the table below for mile point location of each swale. The goal of the project is to upgrade existing median swales that are currently not providing TMDL credits. Other project improvements include upgrading existing traffic barrier within the project limits to meet current standards, as needed.
