Sub-Bidders must be DCAMM certified for their respective class of Work (metal windows; waterproofing, damp-proofing and caulking; miscellaneous and ornamental iron; painting; heating, ventilating & air-conditioning; electrical work; masonry work).

Work to be done under this Contract consists of safety improvements and intersection reconstruction at Hancock Street and Chestnut Street in District 5, the Town of Abington, Plymouth County, MA. Specific work items on this project include: constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Hancock Street and Chestnut Street, changing the roadway profile and improving topography at the intersection and its approaches, full depth roadway reconstruction, pavement standard milling and overlay, constructing cement concrete sidewalks and driveways, installing granite curbing, constructing cement concrete pedestrian curb ramps to meet current ADA/AAB/MASSDOT accessibility requirements, retaining walls, street lighting, drainage system improvement, water main replacement, landscaping, traffic signs and new pavement markings, safety signing for traffic management, and labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work shown on the plans and in the attached.
