Buxton Groin Repair Project, Buxton, NC

The Project includes the following Work: Repair of 640 linear feet of an existing groin in Buxton, North Carolina near the old location of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Work involves the removal of old debris and metal sheet piling from the existing structure. The repair will involve the placement of new PZ-40 metal sheeting piling where applicable in the same location as the existing structure. The core of the groin will be repaired via the placement of angular armor stone weighing 1 to 2 US tons. The outside of the structure will be armored with larger angular armor stone weighing 10 to 13 US tons (typical). It is expected that around 6,600 tons of larger stone and 2,500 tons of smaller core stone will be required. A maximum of 390 linear feet of sheet pile will be installed. Approximately 22,800 square feet of marine mattress will be placed underneath to prevent rock slumping and scouring. A concrete groin gap will be poured and placed over the sheet pile (up to 390 linear feet). Work shall be substantially complete by 15 December 2026.

Janitorial Services - Roanoke Island Festival Park, Manteo, NC

The Vendor shall provide janitorial services (6) days per week, Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the operational season of Mid-March through December. The park is open every holiday to the public except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the Day after Christmas. The winter closure period shall be defined as January through Mid-March (approximately 2.5 months). During this period, the Vendor shall provide reduced janitorial services limited to nonpublic areas of the Administration Building, Education Building, Maintenance Area, and Porch bathrooms.
