This two-step CMAR selection process is soliciting Construction Manager-at-Risk services to deliver the new Dallas College Health Sciences Center of Excellence project. Option 1 seeks qualified contractors to provide the required services including design, fabrication, and installation of large-format vinyl graphics on the existing historic water tower. The current vision is for a one color wrap band around the tank and two (2) large-format logos (north and south faces), replacing the existing faded painted graphics. The intent of this solicitation is to secure bids for services for the resurfacing of aquatic spray-ground deck areas. The Garland VA Medical Center, located at 2300 Marie Curie Boulevard, Garland, TX 75042, requires the construction of a new, fully operational energy center to replace its outdated, noncompliant, and insufficient existing boiler and utility systems. The new energy center will support all existing hospital buildings as well as the VA-owned outpatient building at 900 Shiloh. The new energy center will be a single-story, stand-alone high-rise structure housing major mechanical, electrical, steam, chilled water, fuel oil, bulk oxygen, and standby power generation components. A new walkable underground utility tunnel will connect the energy center to the main hospital.
