Kitsap Transit is issuing this Request for Qualifications to solicit proposals from interested, qualified, and experienced firms to provide construction management services for the installation of sixteen inductive charging units at four locations, including one maintenance base and three transit centers. The work includes the installation of inductive charging pads, charging cabinets, switchgears, demolition of existing concrete, excavation, groundwork, paving, grading, striping, utility upgrades, and other associated tasking. Port Orchard Marina Breakwater Replacement, Port Orchard, WA
The Port of Bremerton is seeking bids for a breakwater replacement project at the Port Orchard Marina. This project will include new north and east breakwaters, approach floats, a new gangway, and demolition of the existing structures and utilities. The breakwater, approach floats, and gangways are performance specified for the fabricator's final design. The anchoring system for the floats in fully designed as well as the float utilities. Utility infrastructure includes dock water systems, dock fire systems, dock sewer systems, sewer forcemain, and electrical. The upland utility work includes temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC); existing utility protection, and site restoration, including paving and landscaping. The project mitigation requirements include the demolition of two timber piers located within one mile of the site. This project is anticipated to be completed in phases over two years.

Kitsap Transit is seeking to contract with a qualified contractor to complete as needed marine welding repair and emergency service under a unit price contract. Contractor shall meet the requirements of section IX of the ASME code and have USCG endorsement for welding of aluminum vessel structure. Contractor shall provide proof of these certifications to Kitsap Transit during the bid process. Contractor shall be able to weld materials such as, but not limited to, stainless steel, aluminum, copper nickel, and carbon steel. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment. Kitsap Transit marine facilities are equipped with 50amps and 100amps, depending on the facility. DBE goal for Federal fiscal year 2026 is 1.98%.

Construction consists of the contractor providing and installing a Varco Pruden Thermalblock roof overlay system on Hangar 5, Hangar 6, and the Airport Maintenance Shop. Hangars 5 and 6 are considered the base bid and the Airport Maintenance Shop building is an add-option alternate if the Ports budget allows for it to be included in the bid award. The Port reserves the right to award the base bid and no alternate, or the base bid plus alternate based on funding availability.
