The intent of this solicitation and resulting agreement is to obtain the services of a qualified contractor to perform housing quality inspections at committed affordable units (CAFs) throughout Arlington County (County). The County inspects CAF units and properties for Housing Quality Standards (HQS), set forth by the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program regulations at 24 CFR Part 982, and will continue this format. In addition to HQS, the County intends to focus on whether units with long-term tenants need to be refreshed. Pest and housekeeping issues will also be noted and referred to management for remediation or assistance. The County historically inspected around 300-400 units annually but wants to increase inspections to 1,600-2,000 CAF units annually. Questions due by 9/22/22, 5pm.
