It is the intent of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to solicit bids for qualified Contractors to provide collection and disposal services for MUSC’s off-site infectious waste. For the purposes of this contract, infectious waste includes human waste, animal waste, or objects and materials with blood and bodily fluids, possibly containing disease-causing microorganisms or viruses. The contractor will be responsible for lawful usage, handling, storage and disposition of all infectious and chemotherapy waste removed from the following MUSC off-site locations: a. Charleston Peninsular b. James Island c. Kiawah d. Mt. Pleasant e. North Charleston f. Summerville g. West Ashley. Questions are due 11/26/22 by 2pm. Bonds required.
