Scope:  Soliciting bids for two (2) projects: Old Harding Pike - seeking a qualified contractor(s) to install approximately 21 LF 6" sanitary sewer line relocation. 25 LF 6" water main relocation, HVUD service and vault adjustments, curb & gutter, 1,413 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian crossings and all associated grading and paving work. Asheford Trace - seeking a qualified contractor(s) to include MWS service and vault 
adjustments, curb & gutter, 125 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian crossings and all associated grading and paving work. Metro reserves the right to procure more or less quantities during the lifetime of any agreement that  may be issued as a result of this solicitation. Metro intends to award to the lowest responsive and  responsible bidder. The projects will be awarded as a group to one (1) vendor. 

 

Summary: Old Harding Pike Project add a new sidewalk along the south side of Old Harding Pike from Hicks Road to Hwy 70S. The proposed path is approximately 5' wide (varies) approximately 1,413 feet long, and the construction within the ROW will require the installation of related water/sanitary system relocations, this is non-MWS related utilities to be relocated, needs to be confirmed with HVUD. Asheford Trace Project  add a new sidewalk along the south side of Asheford Trace from Murphywood Crossing to existing  sidewalk. The proposed path is approximately 5' wide (varies) approximately 125 feet long, and the  construction within the ROW will require stormwater system adjustments. Also includes 20 LF of 6" water main, 20 LF of 3/4" water service, water valve adjustments, a fire hydrant, and all other water  appurtenances for a complete project. Contractor(s) must be a Licensed Municipal Utility Contractor.  Contractor(s) shall comply with all TDOT, NDOT, HVUD, Metro Water Services, Federal, State and  Local environment regulations and/or other authorized agencies. 

Bonds required.
