Work for this Contract includes, but is not limited to, improvements to the existing headworks, including demolition of the existing mechanical screen and installation of a new mechanical screen; removal of the existing treatment lagoon floating aerators and installation of a fine bubble diffuser aeration system; construction of a nitrification system to treat ammonia; upgrades to the disinfection system; construction of a dechlorination system; construction of a new process building to house the aeration and nitrification system blower, disinfection and dechlorination chemical feed systems, and electrical and controls; improvements to the irrigation pump station and irrigation center pivot; together with all other work required to complete the Project. Subject to the American Iron & Steel Act provisions. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
