Provide professional architectural and engineering services for the preliminary plans phase of the Parkwide Surveillance System Project at Exposition Park. Exposition Park is a 147 acre park that is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year. The park is comprised of eight major entities which include city, state, county, and privately operated tenants. Tenants include: California Science Center, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the Natural History Museum, the Los Angeles Football Club, the California African American Museum, EXPO Center and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This project will implement a park-wide surveillance system that can provide coverage of the facilities that are maintained by the OEPM, which includes much of the public space adjacent to the tenants’ property perimeters and the sidewalks, pathways and roadways that link the facilities. This system will require physical infrastructure to mount surveillance equipment; electrical power to operate the field devices and surveillance system; and a communications network that enables the cameras to transmit video feeds to the OEPM’s Dispatch Center. Access control points that communicate to the Dispatch Center will also be required at elevators and stairwells of two parking structures. Surveillance equipment will be mounted to new and existing physical infrastructure. The surveillance system will require adequate storage for recording video, which will require provision of a server which could be locally-hosted or cloud-based. Term is 6 months. Bonds required.
