All potential bidders MUST attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on September 22 at 10:00 am. The pre-bid meeting will be at the Ag Building at 350 Veterans Parkway, Moultrie, GA. Not mandatory for subcontractors.
Trades: General Contractor GC, General Engineering Contractor GEC, Subcontractors
New Construction: Specifications are as follows: 1. Metal structure with concrete foundation 2. Roof and wall panels to be 26ga. 3. Roof to be minimum 4:12 pitch with molded ridge cap 4. Minimum eave height from finished slab elevation will be 12ft. 5. Gutter and downspouts provided and installed by contractor, color to match Ag Building 6. Rough measurements 30’ W X 30’ L 7. Two 12’W X 10’H commercial rollup doors with chains and hangers for lockout 8. Two 3-0 x 7-0 commercial steel personnel doors 9. Provide shop drawings with specifications for columns, framework, trusses, and piers 10. Allsteel (red iron) construction 11. Alternate bid (see bid sheet) - pricing with other materials 12. Foundation to be minimum 4” thick and plans to be designed and provided by metal building supplier 13. Colquitt County will supply any soil needed to complete the job but leveling and compaction will be the contractor’s responsibility 14. 3” vinyl backed insulation in roof and walls 15. Colors to match Ag Building (closest match possible) 16. Approximate location is attached but may change 17. Use documents provided to design metal structure 18. Provide As Built plans when project is completed 19. Any materials or equipment needed will be the responsibility of the contractor 20. Must provide warranty details 21. Must abide by OSHA guidelines concerning installation and safety 22. All permits will be the responsibility of the contractor 23. Present proof of 5 previous jobs of the same scope 24. Must have 5 years of experience 25. Disposal of any debris shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Perform disposal in manner complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations 26. All material must be installed per manufacturer’s specifications 27. Locates will be the responsibility of the contractor 28. Mandatory site pre-bid visit required to participate in bid process.
