Denver County

Owner Reference: P1002522

Bid Date: 12/03/2021 at 02:00pm

Pre-Bid: 11/17/2021
Arts Building – 1150 10th Street. Meet on Curtis Street Side (covered area where Arts Bldg. meets West Bldg.) Masks required. A walk of the project locations will commence after a brief overview of the project.

Trades: General Contractor GC

The Arts Building was constructed in 1975 and since then no major changes have occurred to the restrooms. The restrooms are being renovated to provide ADA Accessibility compliance and to update their interior finishes.  This is a phased project; second floor will be completed first, and once complete and all inspections are complete, work will move to the first floor. Contractor shall purchase all materials for both floors at the beginning of the project. Plan is to first close and renovate the 2nd floor restrooms and create the gender neutral restroom. The 1st floor restrooms will remain completely operational during the 2nd floor renovation. AHEC anticipates that work may begin on December 20, 2021, once classes are done for the semester, with an approximate 90 day work schedule. (All demo-related abatement activities will tentatively be completed the week of December 13, 2021.) Once accepted and signed off by AEC-West (AHEC’s Code Consultant), work will move directly to the next floor with another 90 day construction period, allowing for one week of demolition abatement activities.

Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
