This project provides for the asphalt patching and resurfacing of the travel lanes. Work at the Allegheny Tunnel includes asphalt resurfacing of the travel lanes and the median crossovers. Milepost 121.84 is located approximately 12 miles east of the Somerset Interchange, Exit 110, and Milepost 131.50 is located approximately 14 miles west of the Bedford Interchange, Exit 146, in Somerset and Bedford Counties, Pennsylvania. A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
