The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide biannual equipment inspections/preventative maintenance and “on call” repair services for asphalt tanks and components owned by VDOT, within the Salem District, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The initial term or period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at time of award, with four (4) successive one (1) year optional renewals. Questions should be received by 4:30p.m. on March 17, 2023. SBE goal 42%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
