The Texas General Land Office (“GLO”) seeks a highly skilled contractor to enlarge and stabilize the tidal exchange channel into the Bahia Grande in Cameron County, Texas. The selected Contractor shall hydraulically dredge a channel approximately 3,300 feet long and place the dredge material into a designated disposal area. Contractor shall also construct a scour protection structure around the Highway 48 bridge. The project will restore and conserve the Bahia Grande wetland complex in the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. Deadline for questions is Oct 5th @ 2:00 PM. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
