This contract is for bridge deck and joint repairs along various roads (including interstate routes and other freeways) in all counties in Division Four. The subject counties are Edgecombe, Halifax, Nash, Johnston, Wilson and Wayne. Additionally, this contract shall include the portion of I-95 in Northampton County from the Halifax County Line to the Virginia State Line. If the anticipated MBE/WBE participation is zero, the Contractor shall make an effort to recruit and use MBE/WBEs during the performance of the contract. Any MBE/WBE participation obtained shall be reported to the Department. The Combined MBE/WBE Goal for this project is 0.0%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
