The project consists of the complete removal and replacement of the existing three-span, variable-depth, solid slab bridge, SN 006-0096, that carries IL 92 over the Hennepin Feeder Canal. The length of the existing structure is 89’-6” back to back abutments with a width of 36’-4” out to out. The replacement structure, SN 006-0189, consists of a three-span, reinforced concrete, slab bridge with a length of 114’-0” back to back abutments and a width of 34’-10” out to out. The profile grade of IL 92 will be raised approximately 5’-10” over the Hennepin Feeder Canal. Work includes earthwork, pavement removal and replacement, multi-use path, drainage improvements, guardrail removal and replacement, seeding, pavement marking, and other associated items. DBE goal for this project is 9%. EEO requirements.
