Notice is hereby given that the SCDOT will accept electronic bid proposals for the highway improvements Bridge Replacement - US 52 BUS (Swift Creek), Road = 0.278 Miles Bridge = 158.40 Feet. Utility Relocation, Hot Mix Asphalt, Pile Driving Set-up, Smooth Wall Pipe, Concrete Bridge Railing Wall With Picture Frame Indentations, Tree Protection, Guardrail, Pavement Markings. Bridge Construction Access (BCA) consists of performing all necessary field work to provide for mobilizing equipment, materials, and labor to the bridge project site in preparation for work production. This also includes all field work necessary to establish access to the substructure and superstructure area of the bridge work. The lay down area, being on-site, off-site, or both, is also included in this item. Measurement and Payment: Bridge Construction Access is paid at the lump sum price bid, which price and payment is full compensation for all field work necessary to provide access to the bridge work area. The price and payment also includes costs for reestablishing all on-site and off-site areas affected by the bridge construction access method to the proper lines and grades as provided in the Contract (on-site) or as required by other third party agreements (off-site).
