A meeting invitation will be sent by Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 9:00 AM to all that requested to be added. Please have a responsible representative attend this meeting. No questions or inquiries regarding this bid will be accepted within three (3) business days prior to the bid opening.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Milling and resurfacing of the roadways within the limits listed above within the City of Buffalo, a total of approximately 5.2 miles of roadway. The project also includes “spot” repairs to the existing asphalt roadway base courses to correct deeper deterioration and “true and level” repairs to the existing asphalt courses to restore proper grade to the roadway. Additional work included in the project is the replacement of existing concrete sidewalk curb ramps with new ADA compliant curb ramps, new roadway striping including the addition of dedicated bike lanes (Delaware Ave, portions of Bailey Ave), crosswalks and stop bars throughout the project limits, cleaning and minor rehabilitation of the street’s existing drainage structures, and replacement of traffic signal inductance loops with wireless detection systems at the project’s signalized intersections.
