he work to be undertaken consists of two water main improvement areas: Cerritos Avenue and South Street. The work on Cerritos Avenue will replace and install 2,650 linear feet of 12-inch ductile-iron pipe including valves and pipe appurtenances and will also replace and install 600 linear feet of new 8-inch ductile-iron pipe including valves and pipe appurtenances. The work on South Street will replace and install: 390 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile-iron pipe including valves and pipe appurtenances; 7 fire hydrants; and 52 domestic water service lines and meters. Other Details Statement of Water Pipeline Contractor's Qualifications: Bidders must complete and submit the Statement of Water Pipeline Contractor’s Qualifications form as contained in the bid documents with their proposals. In order to qualify for award of the Contract, the Contractor performing the water pipeline work must meet the City’s requirements for relevant project experience. The City reserves the right to reduce or waive these requirements if determined to be in its best interest.
