Purchase, furnish, and install one (1) new Carrier 30XV-2506S5C266G2 (or equivalent) Chiller with related piping and appurtenances onto the existing chiller steel frame located on the roof of the Broome County Crawford Office Building at 61 Hawley Street. Specifications for the chiller are defined in Section 23 64 26 – Air Cooled Rotary Screw Water Chiller elsewhere in this Project Manual. This new equipment requires the chilled water system to operate with a 35% propylene glycol solution (65% water which is to be provided under this contract. Time Period of Construction – The intent of this contract is to complete the construction of this project in Fall/Winter 2023 or Winter/Spring 2024 depending on the availability of the equipment; unless an earlier timeframe can be coordinated between the Owner, Engineering in Charge, and the Contractor. The contractor shall order the chiller and other necessary long lead equipment immediately upon approval of the submittal and/or shop drawings as necessary. All questions shall be received in writing or by email by 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday October 12, 2022. MBE goal is 3.5%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
