The City of Canton Department of Building Maintenance requests bids for a device for device replacement of all of the fire alarm devices in City Hall. All existing wiring is to be reused if at all possible. The bid is to include all design and permit fees. The current system must remain operational except for a temporary spot while changing out devices. Once all devices are changed then the old fire alarm panel will be removed, and the new panel will be put into its permitted location. Once all parts have been replaced a thorough test and training will be provided to the Director of Building Maintenance or their designee(s).
