The City of Stockbridge (the City) requests Qualifications from Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) firms for the Construction of a new Cultural Arts Center. The City intends to design and develop a new Cultural Arts Center. The CMAR awarded firm will provide preliminary evaluation of the Owner’s program, schedule and construction budget requirements, providing a conceptual estimate of costs and probable timeline for construction based on the concept and schematic design documents; Assign a Preconstruction Manager supported by an estimating staff to manage the value side of the design process; Continuously review the design documents as they are developed to identify elements that are outside budget parameters; Review the design documents as they are developed and make recommendations related to best practices for product selection, construction details, construction means and methods, etc.
