Contractor will construct eight (8) new 2'x12' concrete Pier foundations for structure supports and a total of seven (7) circuit breaker pads. ONLY hand excavation will be permitted in the substation. Contractor shall remove a minimum of 12 inches of material including the aggregate base course and place porous granular material underneath the "Pier" foundations, and compact it to ASTM Standard requirement. Contractor shall hand dig piers inside the energized substation area. Work to begin fall 2021. Prevailing wages. St. Charles, IL.
