The Airport Authority desires to improve the protection of the existing employee parking lots, Dan McClure Building and ground transportation area from the effects of jet blast. The project includes providing jet blast deflector for approximately 600 linear feet. This will allow unrestricted use of Gates B2, B4, and B6. The project includes: New blast fence / deflector (2 types). Existing security fence adjustments / removal. Utility and drainage avoidance or adjustments. Miscellaneous site demolition. Miscellaneous site improvements This scope is based on the east-west oriented segment of the blast fence being the Double-Reverse Corrugated (DRC) style blast fence or similar, and the north-south oriented segment of blast fence being the curved-type blast deflector to generally match the existing curved-type blast deflector.
