The project generally consists of rehabilitation of the Pineland Water Plant including a new pre-cast building, Ozone equipment, chlorination & LAS equipment, new high service pumps, renovation of an existing building, new natural gas generator, rehabilitation of an existing water well, rehabilitation of an existing ground storage tank, and a new hydropneumatic pressure tank; rehabilitation of the King Cemetery Plant including a new ground storage tank; installation of approxmiately 68,986 LF of new 4" to 12" PVC waterline including all valves, fittings, and appurtenances; and other miscellaneous items of construction. Alternate Bids include additional waterlines and a new hydropneumatic pressure tank at the King Cemetery Plant. This project is funded through a Texas Water Development Board Loan and therefore must meet all requirements including but not limited to Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)/Women's Business Enterprise (WBE), and American Iron and Steel (AIS).
