Indian River County Utilities uses Data Flow Systems to monitor and control 350 sewage lift stations. The communications system consists of three (3) polling loops located at Kings Tank, Roseland Tank and West Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. The West Regional antenna and tower were installed in 1996 to serve as the Southwest Forwarding Terminal Unit (FTU). The antenna and tower need to be replaced. The existing tower must stay in operations until the new antenna and tower are 100% in operation. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
