Everyone is to meet at 31 Jefferson Street City of Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. Contractors will be encouraged to visit all other properties on their own.
Trades: Building Moving, Wrecking & Demolition Contractor: General Engineering Contractor or General Contractor
The City of Troy, New York is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors capable of performing the demolition of 5 structures throughout the city. These structures are going to be handled as ACM in-place and therefore no asbestos abatement will be required. Contractors must follow Code Rule 56 of NYSDOL. Contractors must provide the city with a detailed schedule and cost breakdown of each property after the bid is awarded. This job is a lump sum. The City will issue a letter of condemnation for each property. In order to qualify for bidding, contractor should have performed a demolition within the City of Troy in the last 3 years and be based within a 50-mile radius of project location. Bidders that do not meet this requirement shall have opportunity to meet with Engineering Dept. to review references. The Work will be substantially completed by October 31, 2022, and completed and ready for final payment by November 4, 2022. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
