The New York City Housing Authority (“NYCHA”) is soliciting the services of design-build teams for the design and construction of a pneumatic waste collection system at Polo Grounds Towers. The Project shall include service to adjacent Rangel Houses, completed as part of the initial phase or in a future phase. As North America’s largest public housing agency, NYCHA owns and operates 172,447 housing apartments in 2,400 buildings across 311 developments throughout New York City’s five boroughs. The Polo Grounds project will be used by NYCHA to evaluate the strategy for other NYCHA properties.
