Plant City Dog Park, 905 N Knight Street, Plant City, Florida 33563. Interested Bidders must pre-register for the meeting by calling 813-730-1253 and furnishing their company name, representative attending, email address and telephone number.
This construction project is for improvements to the existing grass/dirt parking site that serves the City’s Dog Park located at 905 North Knight Street. Site improvements include constructing an asphalt parking lot in place of the existing dirt parking area to accommodate 17 parking spaces including 2 handicap spaces, a stormwater pond with pipe culvert and drainage structures, signs and pavement markings, installation of a pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge with concrete foundations to allow for pedestrians to cross the existing canal to access the dog park, sidewalk connection from the parking lot to the dog park and LED site lighting for the parking lot area, dog park facility and the pedestrian bridge. A cashier’s check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total price for the work proposed must be included with each bid. Checks or bonds must be made payable to “City of Plant City, Florida”. The calculation for the bid bond should be based on the total price as indicated on the Bid Response Form.
