The Scope of Services, as may be modified through negotiation and/or by written addendum issued by the County, will be made part of this Agreement. Bidder shall supply all labor, equipment, material and supervision to perform maintenance and repair services. Services shall consist of maintaining the elevator systems in proper and safe operating condition including periodic inspections, adjustments, lubrication, repair or replacement of equipment, mechanical and electrical parts. Hydraulic elevators to be serviced a minimum of twice per month. The successful bidder shall have a minimum of one (1) qualified elevator mechanic and helper who will respond and be available for emergency call back service within one hour of the call. In the event the person named cannot be reached in an emergency, provide the name and telephone number of an alternate qualified person to be contacted. Floyd county School System must have 24 hours, 7 days per week telephone coverage at the expense of the contractor. Bidders must provide proof that they are authorized to repair, maintain, and service the elevators specified on the "Floyd County School System Elevator List". Bidder's service representatives shall be competent and familiar with both hydraulic, traction, and screw-driven elevators. Contractor must: Inspect the elevator systems listed in "the List" in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME A17.1-2007, Code, Section 8.6), including supplements. Perform necessary adjustments for proper operation. Furnish all lubricants and lubricate equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Repair or replace any/all defective parts or worn parts, electrical or mechanical, including emergency phone repair, equipment replacement, or programming, that may be required to provide uninterrupted service in accordance with American National Standards Institute for Elevators and Escalators (ANSI A17.1- latest issue) including supplements. Keep elevator machinery and equipment clean and painted. Provide Floyd County Schools, Facilities representative with a monthly record of all emergency calls, service visits, test and repairs made to each item.
