Scope of Services: Provide maintenance and troubleshooting and emergency repair services for the various locations through Onondaga County. Preventative Maintenance Agreements shall include but are not limited to factory recommended service that may be required and will be schedule as required. Minimum two visits per year – one for full-service preventative maintenance, one for annual inspection. This work will be the labor for providing the service and the technician shall be available to complete the work within ten (10) business days of the request of schedule maintenance. Maintenance should take place during normal business hours (8am to 5pm unless otherwise noted by department). Full service preventative maintenance includes replacement of air filter, oil changes, check lubricating oil, check radiator/cooling system, perform coolant testing, check air filters, hoses and crankcase breather, check fuel lines, hoses, inspect fuel vents, check and or replace fuel/water separator, check gauges/instrumentation functions for faults, check fan belts, check governor belts, check battery charger (if applicable), replace spark plugs, distributor cap and ignition rotor as needed, check battery capacity, and provide anti-corrosion treatment. Following service, run a two (2) hour load bank test, check electrical frequency, and provide technical report. Annual Inspection includes inspecting the generator for manufacturer recommend fluid levels and operation. Inspection shall include at a minimum the checking oil levels, check and inspect air filters, hoses, fuel lines and belts, operating temperatures and coolant level, battery capacity and condition, and all visible wear items as applicable. Brands include but not limited to: Caterpillar, Cummins, Onan, Kohler, Generac, Katolight, Doosan, Sentry-Pro Types and size of generators – portable, stand-by, diesel, natural gas, gasoline, propane, etc. – included. Repairs: Provide an estimate for repairs not covered under this scope of services as requested. Repairs may be provided at the labor rates established in this bid with part discounts off catalog list prices. General: All work shall be performed by trained and certified technicians. Provide detailed electronic service reports and historical maintenance data base. Repairs parts shall be O.E.M or superior type aftermarket. All parts will require approval by the County prior to installation. Technician response time from time of service request shall be no longer than 24 hours. Deadline for questions is Octobere 18, 2021 by 4:00pm.
